About the Event
We're excited to share a few pieces from The International Dance Experience 2020 for an in-person showcase. The selections represent a fraction of the repertory dancers worked on during our four-week program, June 29 - July 22. Guest teachers Ido Tadmor, Roberto Machado, Jacinda Radcliff, Tania Alcaíno, Armando Martén, and Beatriz Perez joined us from their homes via Zoom, and Ruth Page Faculty Dolores Long, Birute Barodicaite, and Rigoberto Saura staged works in person with the dancers.
Please join us on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11 for a small, in studio sharing of the following works:
Week 1, Level II - Ido Tadmor, new choreography
Week 2, Level I - Rigoberto Saura, new choreography
Week 2, Level II - Roberto Machado, staging of Four Swans (Dance of the Little Swans) variation from Swan Lake Act II
Week 3, Level III - Tania Alcaíno, staging of Entrance of the Willis from Giselle Act II
Week 4, Level III - Armando Martén, new choreography
Along with variations from La Fille du Pharaon performed by the dancers of the Ruth Page Civic Ballet Training Company.
Run time: approximately 40 minutes
Audiences are expected to wear masks and are capped at 10 attendees to maintain physical spacing.
